Independent. Ethical. Accountable.

A Voice Against Corruption
While opponents take corporate PAC money, Alex answers ONLY to East Norriton residents. Alex has no connections to the establishment politicians, and so will be an independent watchdog to ensure that your tax dollars are being spent responsibly. He will use the power of the Controller’s office to make those in power accountable to you.
Alex’s Values
Alex believes in Green Party values and acts accordingly. Grass Roots Democracy means that decisions should be driven by the needs of the local community, and not by political donations from remote groups. Community based economics means that the town should be buying from local suppliers not from large remote corporations. Studies show that when money is spent locally, 90% of that money recirculates locally. Ecological Wisdom means that we have to take care of the local environment, and not send our pollution elsewhere. Social Justice means that we need to not waste money on spending which does not benefit the people in Norriton.
Alex’s Policies
The controller’s responsibility is to make sure that all payments are legal. He can also shine a spotlight on questionable practices. Under his watch, as far as is legally possible, all town financial records will be publicly visible allowing us to crowd-source the auditing process, and facilitate citizens reporting fraud and waste.
Improving Our Township
A lifelong resident, Alex has been volunteering in and around East Norriton since early childhood. Everything from roadside cleanups to community gardening to park maintenance to food drives. Alex was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout following his contributions to historical documentation in the Norriton Farm Park.
Please Help
If you feel that the political system does not represent you, please help us change it. People have tremendous power locally. Zohran Mandami just won the New York City primary defeating the establishment candidate. The Moriston Controller has tremendous power to prevent corruption. Register to vote, meet with your neighbors, volunteer, join your local, state, or national Green Party. Run for office. (Links in the menu bar.)
